perpormans ng koponan nang tustahin nito ang malakas na Los Angeles Clippers
130-122. Kagagaling lang ng pagkatalo ng Suns sa Denver Nuggets, pero
nakaresbak ito ng panalo sa tropa ni coach Doc Rivers. Nanguna sa panalo ng
Phoenix si Devin Booker na nagtala ng 30 points. Nagdagdag naman si Kelly Oubre
ng 20. Ang panalo ng Suns sa Clippers (2-1) ay nagputol din ng 12-game losing
streak nila rito sa loob ng mahigit tatlong taon.
Nagawa ito ng Phoenix (2-1) sa kabila na hindi naglaaro si FIBA World
Cup basketball MVP Ricky Rubio at Deandre Ayton na suspendisdo ng 25 laro dahil
sa nagpositibo sa diuretic.
"It feels amazing," saad ni
Oubre. "Everybody chipped in. We fought through adversity once again,
we're finding who we are and we're continuing to grow. That's the most
beautiful thing about it."
"The fight
was really evident tonight," pahayag ni Suns coach Monty Williams.
"Holding that team to 22 points in the first quarter, we got off to a
great start. Then after that, they were the Clippers, but we were pretty
good."
